PALLETCOLORADO

About · Our Story

Built on Denver Roots,
Driven by Purpose

What started as a family mission to keep pallets out of Colorado landfills has grown into one of the Front Range's most trusted pallet recycling and supply operations — serving over 500 businesses and counting.

Where It All Began

A Family's Commitment to Doing More with Less

In 2003, the idea behind Pallet Colorado was simple: thousands of perfectly reusable wooden pallets were ending up in Denver-area landfills every week, and that needed to change. Our founders, a Denver family with deep ties to the local business community, saw an opportunity to turn waste into value — for businesses and for the environment.

Starting from a modest yard on the north side of Denver with a handful of employees and a single flatbed truck, we began collecting discarded pallets from warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturers. We sorted them, repaired the ones we could save, and sold them back into the supply chain at a fraction of the cost of new lumber. The pallets that couldn't be saved were ground into mulch and biomass fuel — nothing went to waste.

Word spread fast. Colorado businesses discovered that working with us meant lower costs, reliable supply, and a measurable reduction in their environmental footprint. Within three years, we had outgrown our first yard and moved to a larger facility to keep up with demand.

Today

Leading Colorado Forward

Operating from our Denver headquarters at 435 Osage St, we process over two million pallets per year and continue to invest in sustainable operations and community partnerships.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Every decision we make — from how we sort a pallet to how we route a delivery — is guided by four principles that have defined our company since day one.

Sustainability

Environmental responsibility is not an afterthought — it is our business model. Every pallet we handle is kept in circulation as long as physically possible. When it finally reaches end of life, we convert it into mulch or biomass fuel. Zero waste, zero compromise. Learn more about our sustainability mission.

Community

We are a Denver company, and we are proud of it. We hire locally, source locally, and invest in the neighborhoods where we operate. Our partnerships with local environmental organizations and workforce development programs reflect our belief that a thriving business should lift up the community around it.

Quality

Recycled does not mean second-rate. Every pallet we sell passes a rigorous multi-point inspection covering structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, nail condition, and cleanliness. Our grading system is transparent and consistent, so you always know exactly what you are getting. See our quality process in detail.

Transparency

We believe in honest pricing, clear communication, and no hidden fees. When you work with Pallet Colorado, you receive a detailed quote upfront, accurate delivery timelines, and straightforward grading information. If there is ever an issue, we address it directly and make it right. No runaround, no fine print.

Proud to Be Local

Denver Is Home

Our headquarters at 435 Osage St sits in the heart of Denver's industrial corridor, giving us fast access to the I-25 and I-70 corridors that connect Colorado's major business hubs. From Fort Collins to Colorado Springs, from the mountain communities along I-70 to the Eastern Plains, we deliver pallets where Colorado businesses need them.

Being locally owned means decisions happen fast. There is no corporate chain of command halfway across the country. When you call Pallet Colorado, you reach people who know Denver, know the market, and know your business — because we are part of the same community. We are open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM to noon, so we are here when you need us.
